Picked up my Buddy and our boat about 4 p.m yesterday to head to Oldham's pond but after getting on the highway decided to just keep on heading south. You know when you have that urge to go to one of your favorite spots even when its an hour away yea well I had one of those , anyway we arrive around five and almost instantly I hook up on a 1/2oz green pumkin jig with a rage chunk on for a trailer well the bite continued right on through 930 p.m I ended up with about 17 Gish over all none under 2lbs but what really made my night was pulling in a 4lb even on my brand new baitcaster it was awesome , also I put 2 smallies 1.5 in the boat I never put that jig down it produced all night .my friend got some nice fish also including a nicer smallie all in all glad we drove the extra half hour.
