Stupid Muddy Water!

I went out with a friend on Indian Head Pond in Hanson, MA and came out after a few ours with a big ole zero. We missed one fish that was tucked way back in the weeds. Other than that we didn't get a single bite. Probably should have mixed it up with some buzz baits or spinnerbaits but the water was just too muddy for the fish to see the rubber worms/frogs we were using.

Creasekeeper, have you tried a topweed? This might work as a side lure to a crank, just make sure the worm isnt too jigged. Ive had decent success with this, but i think it's a lot better than just wading your lure into a rock pot. ya know?

ya i've really gotta expand my game. im always just looking to throw some rubber worms into the lilly pads, just wasn't the right pond for that.

I have not been to this pond yet but as you mentioned, my game plan probally would have been thumping spinnerbait or crankbait (if possible with grass) and of course a noisey topwater lure
