Whitehall 7/4/11
4th of July found me once again at Whitehall. Spent the morning 8 - 1 pm on the water with Debbe, and found the bass biting early, and larger than the usual 8 -10 inch size. 10 bass were caught, with keepers numbering 6 of those 10 and went 3, 2 1/4, 1 3/4, and the others in the 1 lb size. All bigger fish came in shoreline shade on the east side in 2 - 3 ft of water taking wacky Senkos and Fin-s baits. Key was the shade as nothing of keeper size was taken in the sunny spots, or later as the sun got up overhead. It is of note to mention that not one Pic was had or seen today, hmmm. Great time spent with my Honey. Started getting parched and burnt by 1 pm, and opted to split and rustle up some burgers and a few brewskys.
